Community Garden's : Growing God's Food

Here at an open space located at the intersection of Water and White streets the vision seed was planted with determination and hope that it will reach fruition.

Six raised beds (twelve by three foot) were assembled, lined with biodegradable cardboard, filled with soil, and planted with fall and winter crops. The ambitious growers sought out local purchases (many donations) of hemlock from Nichol’s Lumber Yard; barn spikes from Brookville Lumber Company; rebar from Glen Redi Mix and Herb Buller’s Construction Company; nine tons of soil from Earthworx; and Quiet Creek garlic, spinach, arugula, and thyme.

All kids and students welcome! PLUS don't come alone, bring a friend with you!

Every Sunday morning you will find adults that love kids. Parents we have a....................

  • Pre-schooler's are upstairs with Lisa, Sarah, Derek, Emily plus more! Jump in the bounce house, play with the toys and learn about God with creative lessons.
  • The Garage Gang, K- 4th grade is a high energy, interactive environment that will challenge you to connect with God and those sitting next to you.
  • If you are in 5th - 12th grade we believe you can be key contributors to the church community so you can help in one of our ministries on sunday morning. Inquire at guest services.
  • In-Process -- we are in the process of developing plans that are specific to 5th and 6th grade and a ministry for teenagers so if this resonates with you maybe you can be part of God's vision for students in the community of Jefferson County!
